Built for the next century of wealth.
Founder & CIO
Matt founded ClearView with a specific vision: to bring the sophisticated strategies of the ultra-wealthy to the high-net-worth families of Arizona. He built ClearView to replace the sales culture of Wall Street with a culture of conviction.
To eliminate the risk of fraud, ClearView Private Wealth adheres to a strict separation of powers. We manage the strategy; we do not hold the cash.
To ensure the safety of client assets, ClearView Private Wealth utilizes Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. as our primary custodian. This provides our clients with independent third-party verification, SIPC insurance protection, and the security of a global financial institution.
Most of Wall Street operates under the "Suitability Standard," allowing them to sell high-fee products. We reject this.
It ensures alignment. Unlike mutual funds that charge you regardless of results, our Performance Partnership utilizes an inherent High-Water Mark. We charge $0 in performance fees on recovering assets. We only earn a fee when your cumulative returns reach new highs.
We do not believe in "going down with the ship." While we cannot predict the future, we utilize a "Tactical Throttle." If our risk models signal a breakdown in market structure, we have the mandate to raise cash or utilize inverse ETFs to hedge the portfolio. We view cash not as a lack of return, but as "ammunition", allowing us to buy high-quality assets at a discount while others are panic selling.
Absolutely. ClearView utilizes Charles Schwab & Co. as our third-party custodian. We do not hold your cash. It sits in a segregated account in your name at Schwab. We cannot withdraw funds. We only have authority to execute trades and deduct agreed-upon fees. Total Transparency: You can log in to the Schwab alliance portal 24/7 to verify your balance independently of our reports.
Because "Average" is not our objective. Passive indexing exposes you to 100% of the market's losses during a bear market. Our active strategy seeks to capture upside while mitigating downside volatility. We are fully aligned with our clients; the firm often invests its own capital using the exact same strategies we deploy for you.
Fundamental analysis tells us what to buy. Technical analysis tells us when to buy. Ignoring price action is irresponsible. We use it to identify when a "good company" is a "bad stock."
